About the Caversham Wildlife Park:
Caversham Wildlife Park is located within Whiteman Park, about 30 minutes from Perth, Western Australia. It houses one of the largest privately owned collections of native wildlife in the region, with over 2,000 animals representing more than 200 species. Operated by a local family since 1988, the park focuses on providing direct access to Australia's unique fauna through well-structured animal encounters and shows.
Visitors can hand-feed kangaroos in an open-air setting and take part in koala photo sessions held at set times throughout the day. The “Meet the Wombat & Friends” presentation allows close interaction with a range of native species, including possums, birds, and reptiles. The farm show offers demonstrations of sheep shearing, whip cracking, and cow milking, reflecting aspects of rural Australian life.
The park also features areas such as Molly’s Farm, where visitors can feed and interact with animals like llamas and buffalo, as well as a reptile house and a penguin feeding session. All animal shows, photo opportunities, and feedings are included in the admission fee. A visit typically lasts three to four hours, allowing time to explore the full range of experiences available.
