Otjiwarongo is the district capital of the Otijwarongo electoral constituency and the capital of Otjozondjupa. Located in the central south namibia on the transNamib railway network, this city is home to about 28000 inhabitants.

Some of the top attractions in Otjiwarongo are Crocodile Farm famous for its Namibia’s first crocodile ranch, Spar Supermarket which houses a wide range of shops and showrooms to shop till you drop, and Locomotive No 41 which is a popular train station which was manufactured in the year 1912 by the Henschel company of Kassel, Germany. It was then brought all the way to Namibia to haul ore from the mines in between Tsumeb mines and the port at Swakopmund.
