Otjiwarongo is the district capital of the Otijwarongo electoral constituency and the capital of Otjozondjupa. Located in the central south namibia on the transNamib railway network, this city is home to about 28000 inhabitants.

It was then brought all the way to Namibia to haul ore from the mines in between Tsumeb mines and the port at Swakopmund.
