Visa Requirements for Luxor:

You need an Egypt tourist visa for your Luxor trip from India. It is valid for 90 days, with the possibility to extend the trip for up to 30 consecutive days. The Egypt tourist visa for Indians costs INR 2400 for a single entry and INR 5500 for multiple entries. Once your visa application is submitted to the Embassy, the processing time usually takes about 3 to 5 working days.

To apply for an Egypt tourist visa, Indians must provide several documents. This includes booked return flight tickets, a valid cover letter to the consular, and gazette-attested bank statements from the past six months. Other necessary documents include a valid original passport with an expiry date of at least six months from the date of return from Egypt. You need two recent passport-size photographs, a duly filled visa application form, and income tax returns for the past three years as well. A bank statement from the last six months showing a minimum balance of INR 50,000 is also required.
