The place is the very good and the staff there especially Pandurang kaka and Krishna both are very welcomeing and accommodating.
One thing I think everyone should know is that to reach there you have to take a taxi from kasara station, so when you get down at kasara station write outside the station you my find lot of taxi guys who would insist that you go with them and in order to reach the camp side that is bhavali dam, you will need to do a special taxi which will cost about 1k. But don't fall for it, instead walk a little bit ahead you will find other taxes which I on sharing basis and ask them to drop you to igatpuri highway. And they ... Read More

The overall experience was awesome as the weather was good and due to heavy rains it was only us who could make it to the location so we had the entire place to ourselves. Food was awesome but the quantity was less as compared to our past camping experience. The location is heavenly and was a cure for my insomniac as I slept like a baby amidst the soothing and calming sound of nature (a perfect lullaby for all ages). I hope the latrine situation was a little better and found the toilet to be very small and uncomfortable (It was super clean though). It was first experience with family on camping and was really awesome experience during entire stay. Fully relaxed and enjoyed during stay. Food, snacks are also homemade and tasty. Staff is really co-operative and polite. Ultimate experience. MUST visit at least once as it really different than other tours.
