Bara Pather

Bara Pather is a very popular destination in the town of Ahla, situated in close proximity of General Post Office, Dalhousie. Take a short break and do visit this place while you are travelling towards the Kalatop Sanctuary. Based amidst the woods, Bara pather is an abode to the pristine Bhulwani Mata Temple.

Panchpula

Panchpula is one of the beautiful places to visit in Dalhousie. Located approximately at a distance of 3 km from Dalhousie, this place is a major tourist attraction. It is a mother stream that flows through various parts of Dalhousie, feeding water to several other water bodies. 

Panchpula that originates from the north of Dayakund, is popular for its mesmeric vista and also holds historical significance. A Samadhi has been built as a tribute to Sardar Ajit Singh, a great revolutionary. When here, do not forget to savour their delectable local cuisine.

Chamera Lake

Deo Tibba Base Camp Trek

Trek to Deo Tibba  starts at Jagat Sukh which is 6 km southwards from Manali. This village is quite old. Trekkers can have a slight diversion to tour Rohtang pass for enjoying the grandeur of Pir Panjal range.

On the trail of this trek you can see Gaddi shepherds herding their cattle’s in the green pastures and the Chandertal lake famous for its unearthly beauty. The trekkers will also pass by the Hampta pass at a height of 4,000 metres. One can visit the tiny hamlets of Chatru also on the way.

The Deo Tibba glacier is dotted with boulders and huge rocks, but according to the locals of the surrounding areas, the glacier is full of white and black crystals which are hard to find. On reaching the Deo Tibba base, you will be offered a visual treat of gurgling stream, a carpet of colourful flowers and a magnificent sight of the Deo Tibba peak. You will find a rock bridge, which has formed naturally, over the stream.

Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary

Take an audacious tour through the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary. It is located in the Chamba district in Himachal Pradesh. Explore this fascinating animal sanctuary, which is enveloped by fir and deodar woods.

Kali ka Tibba

Effortlessly beautiful, Kali Ka Tibba in Chail is perched atop mountain Blossom making for a very pretty picture. Dedicated to the goddess Kali this secluded destination is the perfect getaway to attain that peace and quiet away from the throngs of tourists.

Dainkund Peak

Chandrakhani Pass

At an elevation of 3660 M, the Chandrakhani Pass is the most wonderful and tranquil destination in the Kullu valley. The Great Himalayan National Park

If you are an admirer of nature then a visit to the Great Himalayan National Park will be an enthralling experience to cherish. The National park is bestowed with a variety of wildlife species.  It is an abode for approximately 375 types of fauna that include snow leopard, blue sheep, Himalayan brown bear, Himalayan tahr, musk deer, goral and several others. 

Another exhilarating option here is to go for a trek. So stuff your backpack and do not forget your camera; tie your shoelaces and just break free from your stressful routine. There are a number of fairs held here during the months of April, May, August and September. If you are an Indian National, then you will have to pay around Rs. 50 as a entry fee. For Foreign Nationals the entry fee is Rs. 200.

Manikaran Hot Spring

Witness the unusual miracles of nature like a pond full of boiling water at a hill station. Manikaran is situated in the fascinating Parvati valley in kullu. The hot springs situated on the banks of the Parbati River, is a major tourist attraction.

Kheer Ganga

If you are seeking for some adventure and thrill, then trekking at Kheer ganga is one of the most awesome things to do in Kullu. Situated in the Parvati valley, this place is endowed with a fascinating landscape making it a perfect destination for trekking. 

After this tiresome yet adventurous journey, one can experience the relaxing natural hot water springs here. Kheer ganga is also a pilgrimage hub. It is said that Karthik, the son of Lord Shiva meditated at this pristine place for approximately a thousand years. The place is open to visitors for only seven months a year and proffers comfortable accommodation facilities.
