January to May are the best time to try this adventure as the waters are calmer at that time. Trisuli rafting begins at Chaurandi and ends at Gaighat. White water rafting in Trishula River is also the best way to travel for those heading from Kathmandu to Pokhran instead of taking a flight or the road.

About the Trishuli River Rafting in Kathmandu:
Trishuli river rafting journey will take you through scenic gorges, rock formations and villages which will give you a sight of native and migrant birds. The package provides you with full-day experiences of rafting in Kathmandu, including the 3-4-hour journey between Trisuli River and your hotel. The day begins at 7 am and you return to your hotel by 6 pm. Trisuli white water rapids are short and ideal for first-timers and intermediate participants.

This group activity includes lunch and all required rafting gears so that you don’t have to carry any additional luggage. The package is also inclusive of round trip transportation by tourist and local bus within Kathmandu city limits. The surcharge will apply for any hotels outside Kathmandu city. Besides, the package provides with rafting equipment including helmets, PFDs, paddles, splash jackets and wetsuits. All participants, irrespective of their proficiency level, will be briefed about river rafting and safety procedures to be followed.

Trained Trisuli river rafting guides with certification, rescue qualification and first aid knowledge will ensure your safety. Knowledgeable English and native language speaking guides and drivers are provided for ease of communication. Nevertheless, the package includes river permits along with industry-standard first aid kits. 

Note: The maximum number of persons who can book the package is 20.

Trishuli River Rafting In Kathmandu Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    06:00 – Breakfast at the hotel

    07:00 – After breakfast, we catch the tourist bus in Sorekhutte. The bus takes about 3 hours to reach the starting point called Charaudi. Once you arrived their rafting guide will come to pick up you on the bus. The Rafting guide gives you all the information regarding the rafting.

    10:00- Around 10 A.M rafting starts and will go for 45 minutes in Trisuli River.

    02:00-After finishing the rafting fresh and having Lunch in riverside enjoying the view of high mountains and deep valley.

    3:00-Then Departure to the next destination by Local bus. ( private car available from Kathmandu, Pokhara or Chitwan on extra cost)
