The old city centre is a crowded maze of small shops and paved alleyways, and the streets are narrow for the cars to find their way. The city has crumbling buildings (especially after the mammoth earthquake) that opens onto the courtyards where you will find chillies, rice, and laundry dry in the sun. All in all, you will find a temple in each corner of the city illustrating the real traditional essence of the city. The temples are masked in exasperate smoke and decorated with marigolds. Indulge in the best sightseeing tours in Kathmandu to explore the amazing culture and tradition of the city.

Take a Kathmandu sightseeing tour and get into the heart of the city.
