For long my husband and I have been deciding to visit Ladakh for a sightseeing tour. So, this was a great excitement for us when we cooked this tour from Thrillophilia. We are really glad that we went on this tour. The pickup was on time and we reached Leh on time. The whole surrounding was amazing and the cold weather made it all more exciting. Our accommodation and food was the best. The rooms were very clean and so were the services. But the main fun started when we visited the monasteries and forts. Likir , Alchi Monasteries, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of Fame museum are few of the places that we covered. Then came our drive to Valley of flowers via Khardungla, the highest motorable road in the World, which was one great experience.

We booked this sightseeing tour of Ladakh and trust me guys it was one of the best. We went on this tour last summer after booking this tour from Thrillophilia. It was an amazing experience. Everything was very well arranged for us. Food was good as well. As for our accommodation we had the best room and services as well. We also had an amazing guide who was assisting us all the time. The sightseeing tour was equally great where we visited a lot of monasteries and forts. It was a great trip.

Best experience ever. We had the best accommodation, food and transportation. We had an amazing guide throughout the tour and he was very informative and well versed. We were 5 people on this tour. We also visited the monasteries and also valley of flowers and Nubra valley. The best part was while we pass the highest motarable pass. We also camp for the night near the Pangong lake. Altogether it was a great experience.

Ladakh never disappoints, and this trip proved it. Having said that, this experience was a bit disappointing. It was my first experience with Ladakh and things could have been organised more efficiently.1. We were a group of 12 people with 2 solo travelers. Without taking the preference into account, they booked 6 rooms which left the 2 solo travelers ( a boy and a girl) with one standard bed room. Hotel Mahey Palace was a decent place and they accommodated us with an extra room for the girl until the last day when they threw the bags out of the extra room to give it to others, leaving the traveller helpless. The local operator was able to help us out but it was at the atmost last minute. There were no extra beds, only a mattress (but if a traveller paid for bed, why settle for a mattress?)2. Since there is a scarcity of signal in Leh, in case of emergency it was difficult to reach out. Our local operator Rigzen was mostly unavailable. One of my co-traveller had to leave one day early and it took me almost 2 days of the trip to get any communication from folks sometimes because of the network issues, mostly because they pointed me towards different people for communication. 3. The itinerary - since this was my first time in Ladakh , it seemed perfect to me at the time of booking. But after the experience, they could have saved about a day worth of travel had it been from Nubra to Pangong directly instead of coming back to Leh. Or used up the time for something new instead of going back to the same pass and Leh. Even towards the end, our drive back to airport, had to continuously call them to send the driver (even after informing them the previous night). And the driver confirmed to us that he was informed at 6:10am for our 6:00am pickup. The accommodations were good (standard), food was also good. All in all, Ladakh was a fabulous experience. Meeting people in our group (of all ages) was fun and wonderful. Our drivers were accommodating and very friendly. And by meeting other groups and knowing about their experiences as compared to mine, I would not recommend the Ladakh tour like this.
