Overview

About the Activity:

The snow capped peaks of the Himalayas and Karakoram hide in their midst a diamond that sparkles with myriad hues called Ladakh. It is here that you will see just how bountiful nature can actually be! It has bestowed upon Ladakh, stark blue waters of the Pangong Tso Lake, at the same time as the white sand dunes of Hunder. One of the consistent strongholds of Tibetan Buddhist traditions, the land is further blessed by the chanting of the monks who have practiced the tradition that centres on inner peace!

Taking you from one blissful land to the next, the trip to Leh Ladakh from Chandigarh progresses towards ‘Heaven on Earth’: Kashmir. Immortalised in many poetries, music pieces and folk traditions, the very name of Kashmir conjures up images of snow capped peaks and gardens of heavenly flowers. Exploring these lands, slowly turns into an exploration of self and implores you to redefine beauty itself!

We were very glad that we went on this amazing bike trip. It was the most adventurous trip ever. Our trip was for 14 days and it was the best. I along with few of my friends went on this bike trip. Everything was made perfect for us on our trip. From our food to our accommodation everything was very well taken care of. We rode through the high mountain pass and also through the highest motorable road Khardungla pass. It was a great experience. We also had a wonderful guide who was very well versed and helped us throughout our whole trip.

It was a wonderful trip to ladakh. Our bike ride was the most exciting one along with my friends. Our accommodation and transport was the best. And so were our rides. There was a backup vehicle carrying our luggage with us. And we also had an amazing guide who was providing us about all the details of the places. We visited Pangong Tso Lake, Tibetan Buddhist monasteries etc. But the best part came when we conquered the highest motorable pass Khardungla Pass. We also navigated the 21 Gata Loops towards Sarchu. It was a wonderful experience for all of us.
