Riders morning always rises up with new challenges.
Head towards the Zujila Pass (3,530m) and enter the Ladakh region.
From Sonmarg the landscape starts changing dramatically all the way till the famous ZojiLa pass (11,640ft), roads on the both side of the pass will be in bad condition.
This is also the toughest few kms of the entire Srinagar - Leh highway, beyond which tarmac is fantastic. Within an hour of crossing Zoji La, you would be at Drass. In the summer months, here the locals love to indulge in their favourite sport – polo.
A few kms beyond Drass is the Drass war memorial, built in the memory of fallen soldiers in the 1999 Kargil war and a must visit. From here it is a straight run to Kargil and you will be there in less than an hours’ time. Kargil is the intended pit stop for the majority of travelers.
Overnight at Kargil in Camp .

This morning after breakfast we start our bikes for Leh. This time the riders can give some rest to their spine as the road condition is better on this way proceed to Leh, pass through Fatu La is a mountain pass on the Srinagar-Leh highway in the Himalayas Zaskar Range in India.
At an elevation of 4,108 metres (13,478 ft), it is the highest point on the highway, enroute visiting 30ft Long Maitreya Buddha, later visit Lamayuru, Likir & Alchi Monastery, followed by Magnetic Hill, it’s a gravity hill located near Leh.

Pass through Zingrail, from here the roads turn bit bumpy. Finally reach the third highest motorable pass Changlang la (5289M) crossing over the crazy stream called “ Pagal Nala ”.

Its 5 to 6 kms to reach Pangong but just before reaching the lake few kms, the roads starts turning bad.
