The spectacular landscapes, the chilling snow blankets and metaphorically a paradise land have so much to content every mind.

  • Enjoy some delicious food while camping during in between your thrilling bike ride.

  • All equipment, meal areas, accommodation, etc. are sanitized before and after every use to ensure the utmost safety and hygiene of the travelers.

Itinerary

Day 1
Manali; Your biking adventure begins
  • On your arrival at Manali, the representative will brief you about the tour plan
  • Today you will check the bikes for the trip and head to Sissu and pass along NH 21 (Manali – Leh Highway), Rohtang Pass
  • Stay overnight in Sissu
Day 2
Sarchu; Soak in the serene views of 'Mighty Sach Pass'
  • Post breakfast you will start the journey towards Sarchu
  • Then enter the Lahaul valley which is totally cut off from the rest of India in winters as Rohtang pass is closed due to heavy snowfall
  • You can see the confluence of Chandra and Bhaga rivers which forms Chenab at Tandi
  • Check out the detour from Tandi which leads to the Pangi Valley and the Mighty Sach Pass
  • Stay overnight in Sarchu
Day 3
Leh; Ride along the thrilling Gata Loops - 21 hairpin bends
  • Post breakfast, start your bike ride to Leh covering 4 high altitude passes along with the second highest motor-able road on the earth
  • Along the way, you can see Surajtal which is the source of river Bhaga (Tributary of Chenab)
  • Sarchu serves as a camping ground for the travelers, grazing fields for the local nomads and base camp for acclimatization for trekkers and the Indian Army
  • Witness the Gata loops and Moore plains which are some of the geographical features that will take your breath away
  • Gata Loops are 21 Hairpin bends which will increase the altitude by 800 meters in less than an hour
  • After crossing Nakki La there is a small water stream known as Whiskey Nallah. It is very difficult to cross this stream when it rains
  • Moore plain is a 40 KM straight stretch which gives you the feeling of being on the roof of the world. You can see Local Nomads grazing their cattle in this area
  • Drive along the Indus to reach the city of Leh and stay overnight
Day 4
Leh; Local sightseeing of the 'Land of Lamas'
  • After breakfast hop in for a sightseeing tour of the Leh town
  • Today cover some of the famous places in and around Leh like Stok Palace, Hall Of Fame, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Paththar Sahib and Shanti Stupa that was built by Japanese Bhikshu in 1991
  • All these places lie along the NH1 which goes till Srinagar and drive back to the hotel for dinner
  • Then explore the Leh market after dinner and stay overnight
Day 5
Nubra Valley; Ride across Khardung La - world's highest motorable pass
  • Today visit the land of Double Humped Camels, the Hunder (Nubra Valley)
  • Along the way, cross the Highest Motorable road Khardung La. You won’t be spending time at the Khardung La Top today, because of acclimatization issues
  • So relax and spend time on the sand dunes by riding the double-humped Camels of Hunder
  • Also, witness the lit up sky with countless stars which makes for a perfect treat for the star gazers
Day 6
Leh; Visit the famous Diskit Monestry and admire the landscapes
  • Track back the same route to get to Leh
  • Then visit Diskit Monastery and spend some time at the Khardung La Top along the way
  • Witness the landscape similar to Grand Canyon, can be seen along the way between North Pallu and Diskit
Day 7
Pangong Tso; Bewitched by the saltwater lake at 4350 m above sea level
  • Take a journey to the serene Trans-Himalayan Lake, Pangong Tso. Tso in local language means Lake and is shared by China and India
  • Set up a camp in the middle of Himalayas, under the blanket of million stars, the shores of the beautiful lake will make for unforgettable memoirs
  • Camping will be in Spangmik village which is on the shores of Pangong lake
Day 8
Leh; Get together with the locals residing in the highest civilized settlements in India
  • Trackback the same route to get to Leh
  • Take a day off to explore the local market of Leh, try out local cuisines and restaurants along the famous Changspa and Old Fort Road
  • It’s a delight for the shopaholics as you can get local Pashmina over here
  • Stay overnight in Leh
Day 9
Sarchu; Ride along two altitude passes Tanglang La and Lachung La
  • Post breakfast, take the much anticipated NH 21, the most famous highway amongst the bikers and cyclists
  • Along the way to Sarchu, cross 3 high altitude passes along with the second highest motor-able road on the earth, Tanglang La
  • After getting down from the Tanglang La top, enter the Moore Plains or Pang Ground, it is a 40 KM straight stretch and at an average altitude of 4800 meters literally proves that this region is the roof of the world
  • After crossing Lachung La you will enter the grazing fields of Sarchu
  • Camping at Sarchu
Day 10
Manali; Bike along the water-crossing of Rohtang La
  • Post breakfast, continue your journey on the NH 21 and cover 2 high altitude Passes, Baralacha La will be the first
  • After crossing the Baralacha La top you can see Surajtal by the roadside.
  • This lake is a source for Bhaga River which is a tributary to river Chenab
  • Take a late lunch break at Kohksar, so that you don’t face any problem crossing the Rohtang Pass, the last pass along the way
  • After crossing Rohtang, enter the famous Kullu Valley
  • Stay overnight in Manali
Day 11
Manali; It's time to say good-bye
  • Departure from Manali
  • Post breakfast depart from Manali to your favored location

Know Before You Go

  • All entry tickets for stupas, monasteries, sightseeing, state and entry fees, monument entrances, camera charges, permits, etc. are not a part of the package.
  • GST is applicable to the package cost.
  • For safety purposes, a biking tour is not recommended for women who are more than 3 months pregnant, anyone that has had major surgery, or has a broken leg/arm, has chronic back or neck pains, etc.
  • Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; it is advisable that you take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.
  • Consult a physician before undertaking the tour. Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the tour.
  • It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the tour. The advisable baggage weight is 60 litres as you might have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle, the accommodation, etc.
  • Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests, hotel change, etc., before the beginning of the trip.
  • The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travellers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.
  • Thrillophilia reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance that occurred (i.e weather condition, political condition or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.
  • Liability for change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like a change in flight and train schedule, cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, roadblocks, etc. will not be accommodated in the package cost. No bill will be reimbursed for any missed service/facility.
  • Because of any reason natural or personal, if the tour or a particular activity is not completed, no refund will be processed.
  • Pay heed to the tour guides and instructors in order to enjoy a safe and sound tour.
  • Any personal expenses or items of personal nature will not be included in the package. Any meals or transfers not mentioned in the itinerary are to be considered an exclusion in the deal. Any kind of drink (alcoholic, aerated, or mineral water) is not included in the package cost.
  • Any breakage or damage of any items in the resort will be charged at actuals.
  • Carry enough cash as the number of ATMs in high-altitude regions are comparatively less and there are long queues at times.
  • All the travellers are requested to carry a copy of their medical certificate (if any) with them.
  • Transportation during the trip would be in Non AC & Non-Heater vehicles. Please wear clothes according to the weather while travelling.
  • If in case any traveller wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveller. Neither the operator nor Thrillophilia will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.
  • Guidelines issued by the State-Government is to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of mask recommended.
  • Always carry your driver's license, wear helmets and riding gear, etc., while riding a bike.
  • During a bike trip, in case the roads are blocked due to landslides or a reason that is beyond control, Thrillophilia will rearrange the itinerary for the travellers real-time, however, the cost of alternative accommodation will be borne by the customer as the hotels pre-booked execute their cancellation policies and are nonrefundable.
  • Any fuel for the bikes, any charges for spares parts and damage caused to the bikes, etc. will be charged at extra.
  • Check your bikes properly before every day's ride and keep the tour guide informed of the same.
  • There will be a refundable security deposit per bike depending on the variant selected. Please ensure you pay that in advance and carry the receipt with you at all times to get a refund later.
