About Bhutan:
Bhutan is a country of scenic panoramas and peaceful chants. WIth a list of places to see in Bhutan such as Tachog Lhakhang, Chuzom, Paro Valley, Tiger’s Nest, Kyichu Lhakhang, Dumb Tsug Lhakhang, Ta Dzong National Museum, Memorial Chorten, etc. you might have to extend your holidays to cover them all.
The country is the last Himalayan Kingdom which is simply breathtaking at every bend and turn. Praised for its dramatic landscape of jutting out Himalayan peaks to deep valleys, monasteries, and fortresses. Promoting the philosophy of Gross National Happiness, the country celebrates sustainable tourism and is a hotspot for adventure activities such as whitewater rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, fishing, trekking, archery, mountain biking, paragliding, etc.
As you explore more, you will get a taste of the Bhutanese food which is majorly based on chicken meat, yak meat, buckwheat, maize, and rice, etc. It would be a crime if you travel to Bhutan on a honeymoon trip and still bail on momos, red rice, ema datshi, phaksha paa, shamu datshi, and goep. Remember that couples who eat together, live happily.
