    Get into the gear and start the paragliding experience. Soar above the hill station of Shimla as you slowly descend down towards the landing site, guided by an experienced pilot

    At the end of approximately 15 minutes of paragliding, you will be received and helped in getting out of the gear to bring the experience to an end.

Temperature during these months varies from 15 to 30 degree Celsius which is ideal for an outdoor activity like paragliding. September to December is also ideal for Shimla paragliding. However, during the months of June, July and August, the activity is closed due to the monsoon season.

Tandem paragliding, on the other hand, is when two persons are taking a glide under a wing. You don’t have to learn paragliding first in order to experience tandem paragliding since you will be strapped into a harness in front of an experienced pilot.

      No, you cannot fly solo unless you are trained since you will be alone during the flight. You can only experience Tandem Paragliding in which you will be taking flight with an experienced pilot.

      The minimum age for paragliding in Shimla is 12 years. However, if you are between the age of 12 and 18, you are allowed to paraglide only with your parent’s permission.

      No, you will not fall if the wind stops because paragliders can be flown even when there is no wind at all. Relative wind over the wings acts against the gravity and is responsible for the flight. So, there is no risk of falling down since you will just glide down in any case.
