This tour was commendable and I just want to take a moment to thank Thrillophilia for making so wonderful for all the four of us. Our tour guide has now become our friend, we spent most of the day driving up and down the high mountain roads but was always given comfortable and neat hotels to doze off. We had no issue with the food, in fact, we loved the Indian local curries and rice.

We sat by the river in Reshikhola on our fifth day of the journey, and spent the tour mostly on the serpentine roads of East Sikkim. Scaled the old trade route from where you can see rolling Himalayan peaks forming layers. Went as high as 13,000 feet which was Lungthung valley near Zuluk. Stayed in comfortable hotels and really liked the entire tour.

Since the very first day of the tour was Sillery Gaon the old silk route, I knew it is not a regular one. We reached the village early and explored Pedong Monastery along with Silent valley, Ramitey view point, and Damsang fort. The route to Zuluk is quite offbeat and I must say that the Eastern Sikkim is the greenest of all. We stayed in a hotel in Zuluk on Day three which overlooked the Kanchenjunga range and out of all the places I have been to, this was the best views of the entire range. The drive to Nathang was not at all smooth but as we were ascending to an elevation, the view was just getting better. Our permits and entry were looked after by the driver, visited valleys like Gnathang Valley, and Tukla Valley.

The six day tour become a little tiring for my Mom and Dad as they are getting old. I just wanted to take them to a less crowded side of Sikkim and I am glad that this Thrillophilia package came in handy. Hope to get such good deals in future too!

I am sure thrillophilia tried their best to ensure that we have a great tour. They actually did so. But let me clear out the issues I had in the trip. Firstly, thrillophilia is not themself the organiser for the trip, they rather contract the trip to some local tour operator. In this process, after thrillophilia, we had 4 other people to contact. Anytime we had any issue, first challenge was to figure out as who would rectify the issue. I felt that because too many people were involved, there were a lot of miscommunication. Secondly, we expected that as we would begin the day, we would be taken around for sight seeing and post that we would be dropped at our stay place to relax and chill. We did expect that we would arrive at our place of stay only by 4/5 PM. On the contrary, we were dropped at the stay by 1 and rest of the day we had to figure out what to do next. This was highly disappointing as for first 2 days we liked it but later it got boring. Coming to driver, we were told that and was expected that driver would partially be a tour guide who would suggest ways to explore the place better. Rather than that, this guy was just a driver. He had no interest in taking us places or probably he was instructed to do so. He was just driving us between our homestays. coming to food, we were served practically the same menu for all the 5 days. I understand you provided the best regional food. But who eats same daal n rice and egg curry/chicken curry everyday. I mean there are hell lot of other dishes which they could have served or atleast option could be given. I can say that the experience was out of the world and stays were the best possible ones, but there was no sight seeing in the trip. Practically we were so bored on the trip on last day that we were counting hours. Based on the other reviews, I feel either they are changed ones or we exceptionally did not get what was promised. As a feedback, for this trip, don't go by the brand. you guys can book from local tour operator and he ll give u same deal in lesser price.
