About Eurail Pass Italy:
Grab the Eurail Pass for Italy and travel hassle-free all over the country. Choose the number of days you want to avail the pass and get unlimited train rides in particular areas for non-consecutive days. You will be traveling at your own pace in second-class coaches of the train with amazing travel discounts in Italy.

Activation Process:
- Step 1: Download Eurail/ Interrail Rail Planner app to use the pass.
- Step 2: Enter your Last Name and Pass Number.
- Step 3: Create a New Trip or choose the previously created Trip and connect the Trip to your pass.
- Step 4: Activate your Pass by entering your Passport / ID Number.
- Step 5: Select the first travel day.
- Note: You can't board your first train unless your Pass has been activated, and you need to be online to activate your Pass.
How to Travel with the Eurail Mobile Pass:
- Step 1: Search your train in the Eurail/ Interrail Rail Planner app and plan your journey.
- Step 2: Save the trip details.
- Step 3: Tap to add your journey to your Pass.
- Step 4: While ticket inspection, go to My Pass and tap Show Ticket.
- Note: Every travel day in your Pass has a different ticket, and each ticket shows all the journeys you add to your Pass for that travel day.
- Flexi Passes only: If the date of your journey is not a travel day yet, you’ll need to use one of your travel days. You can see how many travel days you have left in My Trip and in My Pass, along with an overview of all your travel days
Group Travel:
In case you are traveling in a group and loading more than one Pass on your device, please note the following:
- Create a different trip in Eurail Rail Planner app for each pass.
- If you've already created a trip, you can duplicate an existing trip to connect a copy of that trip to another Pass.
- Track your journeys by naming each trip differently.
- For ticket inspection, you'll need to show a ticket for everyone traveling with a Pass.
Seat Reservation Process:
- Please note that for night trains and high-speed trains in Italy, such as the TGV and Thalys, mandatory reservations are needed. These are not included in your Eurail Pass.
- Reservations can be made at local train stations or using the Eurail/Interrail Rail Planner app.
- Seat reservations can be made up to 3 months in advance through Eurail Reservation Service Webpage.

Know Before You Go for Eurail Pass Italy
- All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of arrival.
- ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of arrival.
- Fixed day ticket implies that this ticket can only be redeemed on the date that you've booked the ticket, it won't be carried forward to next or any other day.
- The Mobile Pass voucher is valid for 11 month(s) from the date of issue.
- You can use the Mobile Pass by downloading the Interrail Rail Planner app.
- Up to 2 children aged 0-11 travel free of charge for every adult with an Adult Pass (not applicable for the Senior Pass).
- The name, country of residence, and passport numbers entered when booking must be an exact match to the passports used when boarding.
- Indicate the total number of adults and children aged 0-11 when booking.
- If more than 2 children are traveling with 1 adult, a separate Child Pass must be purchased for each additional child. This offer is only available for non-European residents.
- To be considered as a resident of a country, you have to stay in that country for more than 6 months and must provide a proof of residence or citizenship while on the train.
- Proof of citizenship can be established by a passport. Proof of residence can be established by government issued residency documents, e.g. visa, residence card.
- If you have resided in country A for over 6 months, but is a passport-holder of country B, you can either fill in A as your country of residence at checkout and provide your passport and proof of residence while on the train, or fill in B as your country of residence at checkout and provide your passport while on the train.
