I had experienced this amazing Spiti Valley tour with my friends. Starting the tour from Narkanda and ending at Rampur all the things were well managed...

Overview

About the Destination:

Nestled amidst the majestic Himalayas, Spiti Valley welcomes travellers with its snow-capped mountains, vast cold desert, and winding roads. Perched at a height of around 12,500 feet, this virgin paradise forms a hub for adventure junkies from every corner of the world. Getting sunshine for just about 250 days in an entire year, this destination is counted among the country’s coldest places. With the extremely thick snow of the Himalayas cutting off Spiti Valley from the remaining parts of India for about six months, the place is accessible directly via motorway only during the summers. Flaunting a plethora of amazing trekking trails leading to different peaks, Spiti offers a spectacular sight of the awe-inspiring Himalayan ranges, promising an unforgettable experience. The places which you will cover during this tour are:

Kalpa: Located on the bank of Sutlej river, this beautiful town will welcome you whole-heartedly. You will be mesmerized by the stunning view of Kinner Kailash peaks.

Tabo via Nako: You will head towards Tabo by taking the route in which you will get see the confluence of Spiti and Sutlej river at Khab and will also witness Nako village and Nako Lake.

In the cold, barren deserts of Tabo valley, the monastery appears as a sanctum from the brutality of barbarous rocky mountains around.

Kibber: Kibber is a beautiful village with arid landscape, rocky mountains, meadows covered in vibrant wildflowers, and all this paired with pristine pollution-free environment. Stargazers and photography lovers flock similar to Kibber to gaze at the unsurpassed, exquisite view of the Milky Way.

Dhankar Monastery:  The Dhankar Fort Monastery is located between Spiti and Pin rivers and offers a special spiritual touch. The monastery is built in such a way in between the rocks that it appears as if it is seconds away from falling all over.

Key Monastery: A must visit tourist place in Spiti Valleythe Key Gompa is enclosed by striking mountains and peaceful valleys. An excellent example of monastic architecture and decorated with beautiful paintings, murals, manuscripts, and wind instruments.
