Today, we will report at Manali in the morning, Freshen up and a small briefing about today’s trek to Solang Valley, Get to know your guide and start the trek to solang. We are supposed to reach Solang by evening, where we will have our complete orientation session after relaxing about the next programme for 7 days. Night camping at Solang valley.
Today after our breakfast at Solang valley, we will start our trek to Dhundi, which will be our camping for tonight. For acclimatization purposes, we prefer not to gain much height on this day.
Today we will be trekking from Dhundi to Lady leg and will be camping there for the night. Today will be a unique day as we will be crossing lots of moraine patches in the process of reaching lady legs.
It has been named as a lady-leg due to it’s visual physical feature like a leg of a lady. We cross a bhoj-patar ridge, where we find the skin of the tree, which was used to write in earlier times.

Today will be our acclimatization and training programme, we will be issued crampons and ice-axe and small orientation programme will be conducted on snow patches, where will be trained to trek on snow using crampons and ice-axe, more technical aspects will be told to us, which will be sufficient to summit the Friendship peak.
The programme will be the same as day four, learning the technical aspects of this lifestyle and gaining a proper knowledge about the Journey ahead.
Today, we will go for the friendship peak summit, which will consume our whole-day.
We will start this ascend at 4-5 am in the morning as snow is hard and suitable to walk upon also, it is pleasant to trek in the morning hours in the absence of direct sun rays in the thin atmosphere.
Enjoy the day to the fullest on the summit. Later descend down and take rest.
This day is kept as a leisure day for people who were unable to perform on Day 6.
Trek down from Lady leg to Dhundi and drive to Solang, camping at Solang.
Today we trek down from Base camp to dhundi and then drive to Solang valley to enjoy the overnight camping at Solang valley.

The Friendship Peak Trek starts from Delhi and consists of a total journey of 10 days. The starting point of the tour is from Delhi and goes on to Manali, which is the next stop. From Manali, the next consecutive stops are Solang and Bakarthach, and finally, the trek ends at the Friendship Peak.
The Friendship peak trek is a fairly easy trekking route, and does not require an extreme level of fitness on the trekker’s part. Although no formal mountaineering training is required for the trek, trekkers need to be adequately fit and agile to make their way through the rugged terrain without exhausting themselves.
Trekkers may choose to do stamina-building exercise in the weeks leading up to the trek, such as jogging, skipping and more.
The trekking package includes breakfast, lunch and dinner on all days. Soup is served in the evening as a snack, while tea is served twice daily, in the morning and evening. All meals are provided with proper packaging.

Day 1: The trek starts from Delhi and goes on to Manali, crossing a distance of 536km. This takes approximately 11 hours to traverse via road, whether you are travelling in a bus or a private car.
Day 2: Day 2 is spent exploring the city of Manali, shopping in its many markets and observing the natural beauty of the landscape. This is also a day you can take to start acclimatizing your body to the changing altitude and temperature.
Day 3: Manali to Dhundi to Bakarthach via Solang Nala is 21km on-road and additional trekking of 4.5km is involved, which takes approximately 4-5 hours.
Day 4: You spend the day at Bakarthach Camp, where you spend a day getting used to the change in weather, geography and altitude.
Day 5: You move from Bakarthach to Lady Leg, which is a 4km-long trek that takes around 5-6 hours.
Day 6: On day 6, you reach the Friendship Base Camp after covering a distance of 2km from Lady Leg, which takes less than an hour.
Day 7: This day is spent climbing 3km to the Peak, which takes 7-8 hours and then again climbing down 9km back to Lady Leg, which takes 4-5 hours.
Day 8: Descending to Bakarthach from the Friendship Base camp
Day 9: This consists of a journey from Bakarthach to Dhundi covering a distance of 21km after which you reach Manali.
Day 10 - Accounted for reserve days of the summit and adjusting to climate change.
