About the Kutla Trek:

Enjoy camping in the green-clad Himalayas of the state of Himachal Pradesh in Tosh. The campsite is surrounded by the pine forests and the views of lush green mountains in Himachal Pradesh. Enjoy chirping of birds and rejuvenating forest breeze. You can enjoy the bonfire with light music with dazzling stars. 

Well maintained swiss tents with attached washroom and alpine tents with common washrooms are provided for stay, each having beds, seating area and electric socket. For a comfortable stay you will be offered mattresses on Sleeping Bags/ Mattress.

During the afternoon time, one can visit some of the nearby places around the campsite. Post lunch time, participants will be going for a guided Kutla trek which is a 3 km hike, and spend some time near the waterfall in Kutla to capture some great memories. The evening can be mostly spent with the fellow campers at the common lounge area along with music and bonfire. After spending the evening at this awe-inspiring location dinner would be served. 

Do not miss out to witness the captivating sunrise the following morning. Families, couples and also groups of friends choose to experience this camp at Tosh.

How to reach the campsite for Kutla trek?

The campsite is around 40 km away from the Bhuntar bus stand. Either public or private transportation can be availed to reach the location.

Know Before You Go for Kutla Trek

  • Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.
  • The management reserves all the right to modify the trek during any emergencies or natural calamities.
  • Consult a physician before undertaking the trek. Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the trek.
  • Pay heed to the trek guides and instructors in order to enjoy a safe and sound trek.
  • The Kutla trek takes place through an eco-friendly zone; do not encourage littering the local sites or campsites. Travelers littering may be fined.
  • Water is very precious, so conservation is appreciated.
  • Do not encourage trekking during the night unless it is a part of the itinerary and a guide is with you; this might lead to unforeseen mishaps.
  • Avoid using earphones during the Kutla trek; this might hinder your audibility.
  • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations.
  • In case, the Kutla trek needs to be canceled, the authorities should be informed beforehand.
  • Guidelines issued by the State-Government are to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of masks is recommended.

  • Camping is very basic in nature. One must not expect luxuries. Electricity may be available only at a few locations.
  • Mobile & laptop charging points may/may not be available on campsites at a common point.
  • Any personal expenses, items of personal nature, meals not mentioned, etc. will not be in part of the package.
  • Carry dry snacks/food from home (you will save a lot of money). Carry water bottles with you, so that you can refill.
  • Keep your luggage minimum; the more you carry, the more you hassle.
  • It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the Kutla trek.
  • Children below the age of 7 years are not recommended for the trek.
