About Grahan:
The Parvati valley in the lap of Himachal Pradesh is replete with surprises that will delight you with the scenic beauty and wonderful experiences of this place. One such great yet less known experience is of the trek to Grahan Village, a small residential area in the valley filled with locals who have had their houses for more than 200 years. Their hospitality is unmatched and so is the view from around here.
About the Grahan Trek:
The Grahan trek starts from the bridge that separates Old Kasol and New Kasol. It follows the true left of Grahan Nallah (stream), the stream that is a highlight of the trek. The gradient on the trail is easy, and you trek up nestled in the beauty of nature beneath towering pine trees. The hike also involves crossing a few wooden bridges, the second bridge marks the halfway point to Grahan. Halfway on the trek, you cross the Nallah over a bridge and hereafter the path is quite uphill. After a steep climb of about an hour, houses are visible, making you arrive in Grahan Village.

Here are the best things and some bad things about this trek: Good things: -It is very value for money with the facilities they offer. -we enjoyed interacting with the locals who told us their family stories. They also offered home-cooked food which was super yummy. Believe me, ever five star hotels cant serve that delicious food.-bonfire was also there-yes! We sang and danced all night around the bonfire. Bad things: -Camping was good. Had only a single issue as the driver was a little late and we had to wait for about an hour to start the trek. Still, I will recommend the trip to everyone looking for a nice outing and new experiences.

It a new trek in adventure trips and my guide was always one step ahead with his knowledge of the trek. He was also very helpful and brought medicines when one person in our group felt a little sick.
