You thought of an amazing Bhutan bike trip and that materialized into this brilliant journey that takes you to the land of the monks on thumping bikes. Also known as the Land of the Thunder Dragon, Bhutan is one of the most beautiful countries locked by land on all sides and nestled in the most adventurous region of the Himalayas. The country shares its border with Tibet, India, and Nepal, and you can see the cumulative effect of all these ethnicities in the people living in this amazing country. The country is the second least populated country in the continent of Asia, with its capital lying in the city of Thimphu, while the financial stronghold lies in the city of Phuentsholing.
And on a bike trip to Bhutan, it is one of the most amazing experiences that you can have while choosing to explore the brilliance and beauty of this country. As the sights pass you by of the green-clad hills and the snow-covered Himalayas, you will feel a rush like never before, willing to stop at every turn to frame some of the most perfect pictures in the Himalayas.
This bike trip to Bhutan starts with your arrival at the Bagdogra Airport, from where you will leave for Siliguri. This is the point where you will meet the bikes that will be your constant companion through the tour. Sit on these bikes and start the ride towards Phuentsholing, which lies all the way in Bhutan across the national Border. The next day you will continue the bike trip to reach the capital of Bhutan, Thimphu. Enjoy in the markets here before you take a whole day in exploring the amazing sights of the city, like the BBS Tower, SAARC Building, India House, Handicraft School, Memorial Chorten and Simtokha Dzong.
The next ride that you will be taking will be to cross the Dochula Pass and enter the city of Punakha, which is famous for being the home to the Punakha Dzong and the confluence of Po Chu and Mo Chu Rivers. The ride continues as you meander your way to Trongsa, which is a beautiful town built on the ridge of a hill and overlooks one of the most beautiful valleys in Bhutan. After spending a day in this scenic place, you will leave to go back to Punakha, where you will spend time exploring the markets and lifestyle before you move on to the beautiful city of Paro.
Once in Paro, you will spend a day exploring the local sights and markets of this beautiful city, and the next day in covering the Dzongs and monasteries, which also includes the world-renowned Paro Taktsang Monastery, which is also known as The Tiger’s Nest. Built on the side of a cliff, it is one of the most famous sights in Bhutan and is associated deeply with the history of this country. The last leg of the Bhutan bike trip involves you riding to Siliguri, while enjoying some more few moments in the beautiful location.

Today, we are driving towards India - Bhutan Border town.
You will complete the stretch before you know it.
If we reach there before time, then we will head to immigration office.
If not, we will struggle on the next day.
It is juggle and struggle day for all of us.
Eat a hefty breakfast at the hotel.
Before we leave for the mission, grab a Glucon D solution for the day.
We will haggle in queue at the immigration office for the required permits.
After getting all the formalities completed, we will head to the hotel for a mini party.

The Roads seems to have been designed by a 3 year's old on his artbook - curvy, zigzag and full of hilly blind turns.
The Lush green surroundings make you feel good about your decision to gift yourself this vacation.
The roads are as beautiful as nature; flawless and soothing to your soul.
We head towards the city of culture and festivity.
The distance may sound short, but it is going to be the riders' day of fun - hill roads, hairpin curves of Dochu La Pass, & fog to add another
level of the fun.
You will find many locations worthy of profile pic shot.
The pillion will also have fun looking at the ice-capped Himalayas & serene river flowing alongside the road.
We let our bikes rest in the evening at Punakha.
Given your energy, you may walk down to enjoy river rafting in male or female rivers.
After breakfast, we depart to majestic Paro.
Riding on the serpent would look very mildly difficult task once you witness the beauty.
Be ready with paper for the check posts inline.
You must follow the ride captain as the visibility falls below 5 meters on the hilly roads.
The roads are ironic to the beauty of Paro, accompanied by river, waterfalls and breathtaking view from hills
After enjoying sunrise of the river confluence, we are leaving for the Tiger's Nest.
You might want to save energy for 1700 ft hiking to the Monastery.
Your listlessness of 2 hours hiking goes away entering the Monastery.
Refill yourself with tasty lunch at Tigers' Nest Cafe.
Afterwards,we head back to Paro to enjoy the sunset at the river bank.
I hope you still have the energy to visit remaining 154 temples of Paro.
On this day, we ride rigorous.
We ride on the familiar terrains; firstly to Phuentsholing.
The smile would prevail noticing the small things missed before; a small sip of tea, locals smiling and so
You would be happy to enjoy the curves on your bike but certainly unhappy to dive away from this beautiful country.
We will drive our souls to Siliguri.
It is time. Time to announce the closure of the trip.
The trip may have come to an end; we will
always be connected with the memories of the trip.
