Built by Henri Christophe, the palace of Sans Souci is located in the town of Milot, Haiti. Among all the nine palaces built by Henri Christophe, this was the most important one. The palace was partially destroyed by the earthquake that struck the town of Milot in 1842. UNESCO designated the palace of Sans Souci along with Citadelle Laferriere as the world heritage site in 1982. It is described as one of the most remarkable tourist attractions in the western hemisphere. The palace is definitely one of the most beautiful piece of architecture you will see in the country.

One of the first place constructed by black slaves after they gained independence, Site Des Ramires is located closely to Citadelle Laferriere and the Palace of Sans Souci.
