Bhakra Dam

Bhakra Dam is in Sutlej River in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh and it is a concrete gravity dam. The height of the dam is 226 meters and a width of 9.1 meters and a length of 518.25 meters make this dam one of the biggest and largest in India.The reservoir in it, Gobind Sagar has a capacity to store 9.34 billion cubic meters of water and it is the third largest reservoir in India.
