About Baghel Museum

Baghel Museum treasures the past of Rewa, especially the generations of Kings in Rewa. You will find an assorted collection of their clothes, the personal belongings like perfume bottles, gifts from the Chinese, chandeliers, old clocks, portraits, paintings, jewelry; along with the military weapons and hunting weapons such as spears, swords, guns, and the stuffed first white tiger, Mohan.

This museum not only preserves the private possessions of Maharajas of Rewa, especially Maharaja Gulab Singh but also find some interesting items belonging to the Baghela Dynasty. It is situated in Rewa Fort and is a famous heritage point among the other Madhya Pradesh tourist places. It is suggested to take a guide and the museum does not allow cameras or any kind of Photography.

Timing
: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on all days of the week.

Entry Fee: INR 50 per head.

Location: Near Tala Village, Bandhavgarh National Park, India, Rewa

Suggested time required: 2 to 3 hours.

Distance from Rewa Bus Stand: Around 4 KM.
