The tour includes the visit to the topmost attractions of the city- the golden temple and the Wagah Border. It is recommended to start the tour in the morning to avoid the rush at the temple and giving enough time to your prayers. This holy place welcomes people of all caste, gender, religion and is known for its World's Largest Community Kitchen which feeds up with over 10,000 people, The tour gives an opportunity to learn more about the Sikh principle of equality and the practice of eating together.

The afternoon is reserved for some patriotic moments. The Wagah border is around 35 Km from the golden temple, enjoy this journey with a storyteller driver. Wagah border, also known as Wagah-Attari border is famous for its grand retreat ceremony. This ceremony takes place every evening immediately before sunset. The soldiers of India’s Border Security Force and Pakistan’s Pakistan Rangers march and parade to show the grandeur of their nations to the beats of the drum. The crowds on both sides of border cheer for there soldiers marching in a choreographed ceremony to open and close the border gates followed by flag lowering, amidst a lot of battle cries, and patriotic songs.

As it is a private tour you can choose the start time as per your preference. However, it is recommended to start around 9 AM to be at the Wagah border on time for the grand retreat ceremony. If you reach late you will find it hard to get good seats.
