About the Activity:

  • Visit Jerusalem, the holy capital of Israel on this 4 day tour, tread along the stone paths, read history and epics from the structures around the city.

  • Also, go to Judean desert to visit Masada, Ein Gedi and the Dead Sea, before you wind up your tour.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    Airport pick-up

    Upon arrival at the airport in Tel Aviv, get picked up and transferred to Jerusalem.

    Check-in to your room, enjoy exploring the city on your own.

  • Day 2 -

    Jerusalem holy city day trip

    Begin the Old City tour today at the Jaffa Gate of Jerusalem’s old city, where you will travel back to history by walking along the stone streets.

    Learn about the 5,000-year-old history of Jerusalem and experience the different quarters that are home to Christians, Jews and Muslims all living inside a fascinating 1 sq km walled city.

    Visit the most famous holy sites for all three religions: the Western Wall and King David’s Tomb for the Jews, the Dome of the Rock, where Prophet Mohammed ascended to heaven.

    Also see the exquisite Al Aqsa Mosque for the Muslims, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the room of the last supper and the Via Dolorosa where Jesus walked bearing his cross before he was crucified. Listen to biblical stories and learn about the rich history of Jerusalem as you continue strolling along the paths of this amazing city and stand on the very spots where they took place.

    Return back to your hotel.

  • Day 3 -

    Free day in Jerusalem

    Enjoy a day at leisure and at night, depending on the day, you will get a chance to participate in a Pub Crawl, a BBQ night, a Shabbat Dinner, or a Hummus Workshop.

  • Day 4 -

    Masada, Ein Gedi and Dead Sea day trip

    Depart Jerusalem around 7:00 AM and travel south towards the Dead Sea and the Masada Fortress located in the vast and beautiful Judean Desert.

    Hike to the top of the fortress or buy a ticket for the cable car where you will witness the miraculous views over the Dead Sea and surrounding mountains.

    The marvellous ruins at Masada are the site of a great story of Jewish heroism. Walk along the ruins to get an idea of Jewish history.

    Afterwards visit Ein Gedi Nature Reserve for a spectacular walk to the refreshing spring-fed waterfalls and swimming holes.

    Following it, visit Dead Sea where you will have the chance to float in the salty waters.

    Enjoy a mud-bath with therapeutic mud.

    Post the visit, you will head back to Jerusalem. You will arrive at Jerusalem by evening and enjoy rest of the day at your leisure.
