Night Bus from Istanbul to Cappadocia
Catch the night bus at 09:00 PM to the beautiful Goreme, in the Cappadocia region in Central Anatolia.
It houses the famous amazing valley, canyon, hills and unusual rock formation in Turkey.
Cappadocia highlights tour
Upon arrival in Goreme, get transferred to your accommodation and get ready to enjoy the glimpse of Cappadocia's fascinating rock formations.
At 09:30 AM, you will be picked up and then travel to Cevizli, where you will have the opportunity to see old caves, pigeon houses and the stunning Uçhisar Castle, the highest and most beautiful fairy chimney of the region.
After which continue to a viewpoint from where you can admire the unique rock formations of the "Love Valley".
Later, arrive at the Göreme Open Air Museum, where you can visit the many rock churches of Old Göreme, home to some of the best preserved Christian frescoes from the 8th to the 13th century.
After visiting the museum, enjoy a delicious typical lunch before continuing to the small town of Avanos, famous for its Hittite Ceramics.
Get the opportunity to learn to create ceramics yourself afterwards.
Then you will be going to witness the Pasabag 'Monks' Valley.
Post which, travel to the next destination, Devrent Valley which is also known as Imaginary Valley or Pink Valley.
The valley has many animal shaped rocks.
Continue your tour by visiting a local winery in Ürgüp before stopping by the Three Beauties, a conic rock formations.
After the tour you will be dropped-off at your accommodation in Goreme.
Cappadocia history tour
Around 09:30 AM, you will be picked-up from your accommodation and start the journey to the deep section of Cappadocian history.
Firstly, enjoy Goreme panorama, with the view of the fairy chimneys and then go south to Derinkuyu, the deepest underground city of the region.
You will go through 8 levels underground, exploring the many stables, halls and churches that were once inhabited.
Post which, you will reach the Ihlara Valley, where you will walk along the Melendiz River to Belisirma. There you can find numerous churches hidden in the cliffs around the village.
After lunch break, you will continue to Selime, Cappadocia's largest rock-cut monastery, from where you will also see Yaprakhisar.
The last stop of the tour is the Pigeon Valley, famous for the thousands pigeon houses carved into the soft tuff since ancient times.
After the tour you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
Free day and night bus to Istanbul
Enjoy a full day at leisure discovering Goreme on your own, then make your own way to the bus terminal to catch the return bus back to Istanbul at 09:00 PM.
Upon arrival in Istanbul, your trip will come to an end.
