Know Before You Go
- We strongly recommend scheduling your arrival in Leh before 2:00 PM, as the Indian Army takes control of the airport operations post 2:00 PM, which may cause delays or restrictions in passenger movement.
- After arriving in Ladakh, it is suggested to acclimatize and allow your body to adjust to the high altitude. Explore at a steady pace, stay hydrated, and avoid overexertion, to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
- It is advisable to carry approximately INR 5000 per person in cash for expenses not included in the package (such as lunch, activities, entry tickets, etc.). While online transactions may be functional in Leh city, only postpaid SIM cards linked to UPI work reliably in Ladakh, and connectivity may not be stable in remote areas.
- Accommodation at Pangong is basic due to the remote and underdeveloped nature of the area. Vegetarian meal options, including roti, sabzi, dal, rice, and a sweet dish, will be available at Leh, Nubra, and Pangong. As for the non-vegetarian dish, it will be available in Leh but not in Nubra or Pangong.
- In hotels, the availability of electric appliances is limited. Geysers, heaters, recharged TVs, kettles, etc. may not be provided. Basic toiletries might be scarce in remote locations, so it is advisable to carry your own.
- The driver will carry the inner-line permits required for your trip. You will need to submit a soft copy of your ID proof to the operator closer to your travel date or upon arrival in Leh. Carrying a photocopy of your Aadhaar card is recommended.
- Hot water is provided in buckets each morning but in limited quantity or as per the hotel policy. Plan your day accordingly.
- Any modifications due to changes in your schedule will incur additional costs of approximately INR 3000-3500 in your accommodation, which will be borne by the guests.
- Any expenses arising from unexpected events such as political unrest, economic disruptions, natural calamities (e.g., landslides, roadblocks, adverse weather conditions), flight delays, or union-related issues will be your responsibility.
- Travellers aged 60 and above need a doctor's acknowledgement for travelling in Ladakh. Children over 6 will require an extra bed, and kids under 4 are not permitted.
- Accommodation will be provided in the base room category of the designated hotel & the hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travellers will be accommodated in a property of a similar standard.
