Know Before You Go
- ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered a valid address proof.
- All international participants will have to share passport and visa details on arrival.
- Any breakage or damage of any items in the hotel will be charged at actuals.
- Any personal expenses or items of a personal nature will not be included in the package.
- Do not consume alcoholic beverages or drugs, if you are found intoxicated, you might be asked to leave the tour/premises.
- Learn basic Japanese phrases like "Konnichiwa" (hello) and "Arigatou" (thank you).
- Bring a portable charger for your devices, as power outlets may be scarce. Carry an adapter for Type A or Type B sockets.
- Remove your shoes when entering someone's house, traditional house or a temple in Japan.
- Always remember not to leave chopsticks upright in a bowl of rice, as it's considered disrespectful.
- It's not customary to leave a tip for your server in Japan, as tipping isn't a standard practice in restaurants here.
- Using your phone for calls during a train or bus journey is considered inappropriate etiquette in Japan.
