Know Before You Go
- ID proof is mandatory for each guest at the time of booking and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered a valid address proof.
- All international participants will have to share passport and visa details on arrival.
- Learn basic Japanese phrases like "Konnichiwa" (hello) and "Arigatou" (thank you).
- Remove your shoes when entering someone's house, a traditional house, or a temple in Japan.
- Always remember not to leave chopsticks upright in a bowl of rice, as it's considered disrespectful.
- Using your phone for calls during a train or bus journey is considered inappropriate etiquette in Japan.
- The cancellation terms for any bookings or packages will be governed by the specific cancellation policy related to the land package. This means that any cancellations must adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in the land package's cancellation policy.
- Thrillophilia's visa policy emphasizes that the company is not liable or responsible for any issues related to visa applications. This includes situations where a visa is rejected or delayed, or if there are any delays or errors in the documentation process. The responsibility and control over visa matters lie solely with the respective embassy.
- Guests must note that entry ticket to Todai-ji Temple requires a separate fee of ¥600 per person, payable directly at the entrance.
- For all the activities that have a designated common meet and drop point, guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the location.
- Kindly note that hotel taxes range from JPY 500–1,000 per person per day for five-star hotels, JPY 200 per person per day for four-star hotels, and JPY 100 per person per day for three-star hotels and below.
- Ensure your luggage does not exceed 160 cm in total dimensions to comply with size restrictions while travelling via bullet train.
