Japan for two weeks watching sumo tournament and enjoying tea ceremony in Kyoto to the snow monkeys in Jigokudani to the ramen museum in Yokohama, every day had something irreplaceable. The team added such experiences in our plan we would never have found ourselves.

Apart from Day 5 (mount fuji and hakone) which was too hectic due to lot of travel between places, everything else was well planned and delivered.

Japan trip felt very different from other countries we’ve visited. Everything is extremely organized but also a bit overwhelming initially. First day in Tokyo we struggled with trains, too many lines and platforms. After that it became easier. Thrillophilia team had shared detailed instructions which helped. Overall trip went smoothly without major issues.

Japan trip was different from anything we’ve done before. First thing you notice is how everything runs on time. Trains, buses, even small things. If it says 10:02, it’s 10:02. We used the JR Pass and it made intercity travel much easier, otherwise it can get confusing. Tokyo felt fast and crowded but very clean. Kyoto was the opposite, slower and more traditional. We liked Kyoto more. Walking around Gion in the evening had a completely different feel. Food is great if you are okay with non-veg. For vegetarians it needs some planning. I have done Europe and Southeast Asia with Thrillophilia but Japan felt different from the first day. The precision of everything trains on the second, service without attitude, cities that are clean in a way Indian cities simply are not. Thrillophilia's vegetarian pre-arrangement at each hotel was something I appreciated deeply because Japan is genuinely hard for vegetarians. Very well planned trip.

Japan through Thrillophilia has raised my standard for travel. The country is simply unlike anywhere else. The precision of the Shinkansen that arrives to the second. Kyoto in the cherry blossom season with petals drifting across the canal at Philosopher's Path in the early morning. Nara's deer who bow back to you when you bow. Osaka's Dotonbori at midnight. Thrillophilia had arranged vegetarian meals across all hotels which in Japan requires genuine advance coordination. JR Pass was pre-arranged. The guide in Kyoto was exceptional.

Our 9 days of Japan trip was an awesome experience for our family if six members including kids and elderly parents. We had a pleasant stay and travel experience. All vehicles and the drivers were very helpful. A lot of good learning on the Japanese culture, their helpfulness, and ground to earth kind of attitude. Overall a great experience!

Our Japan family trip with Thrillophilia was honestly one of the easiest and most enjoyable holidays we’ve done together. Traveling with kids and parents usually means a lot of coordination, but this trip felt smooth throughout. We covered Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, and each place offered something different. Tokyo was exciting and full of energy, Kyoto was calm and beautiful, and Osaka was fun for the whole family. The bullet train journey was a big hit especially with the kids.
