We hadn't been to the Cal Academy of Sciences in decades. I had visited in my childhood with my parents, grandparents & school field trips. We had visited with our young daughters & our young grandchildren with extended family in the past. Now we're great grandparents & this time it was our great granddaughter Leah's, first trip. She had such a great time running around looking at everything, she wore herself out! I was so struck by the creative way space was used, by the use of technology like the swiping ability to read descriptions, the projections of teaching video in resting places & how many exhibits were designed with multiple level... The California Academy of Sciences never disappoints. From the planetarium to the rainforest the deep sea and the other rotating exhibits like Vivid a fully immersive experience into several ecosystems found on our planet.
