The Whirling Dervishes ceremony in Konya was a soulful experience that I will never forget. Thrillophilia arranged the tickets in advance so we had front-row seats to this spiritual performance. Another highlight was the hike through the Ihlara Valley in Cappadocia; the rock-cut churches and the sound of the Melendiz River were so peaceful. Our guide was a fountain of information, explaining the Roman history of Hierapolis while we relaxed in the thermal waters of Pamukkale.
