We had a free day on our itinerary, and decided to visit Chateau Chillon in Montreux. We got the entry tickets from Thrillophilia, and got a really good discount on the price! Booking in advance turned out to be a great decision, since the attraction was fairly crowded and we could skip the line.

You definitely don’t need an audio guide or a guide at all. The place is just so amazing to look at, and the exhibits offer a great insight. The castle looked like it was floating on the lake and is so much better to visit in the evening near sunset. The surrounding is just as amazing as the interiors. Chateau De Chillon feels like from another dimension. Extremely happy to see such great preservation of history and heritage. My family enjoyed the entire palace tour and we learned a great deal about the culture. Thanks to thrillophilia for planning the entire thing for us.

The castle is located near a very beautiful lake and the scenery is amazing. There is even the museum nearby which tells specific details on the fortification and defence of Switzerland. The place is really interesting to visit during the and Thrillophilia has great discounts for the pass.

The Chateau is a historical site and has exhibits that we loved exploring during our visit. Even though it was not a planned visit we got instant confirmation with Thrillophilia and with great discounts. The gothic architect was so amazing, unique and complemented by the paintings in the exhibits.
