My partner & I booked the Volendam Marken and Windmills tour from Thrillophilia on a great discount. The tour served as a great excursion into the countryside of Amsterdam. We visited the windmills, stopped for a traditional cheese tasting, and even went to a show factory to see how traditional clogs were being made. The tour was an entirely guided one, and arranged for our transfers as well. Big thanks to Thrilloiphilia!!

Booked: Volendam Marken & Windmills Tour
We had a lovely day visiting the gorgeous countryside learning about cheese manufacturing at Edams and Dutch living in the 17th and 18th centuries on this Volendam Marken and Windmills tour. Visiting Zaanse Schans and strolling among old wooden buildings, historic windmills, workshops, and barns was a lot of fun. The same was seeing the Stolphoevekerk, St. Vincent's church, and the Visafslag, and relishing fresh fish in Volendam. We also had a 1-hour boat that was relaxing. All thanks goes to Thrillophilia for arranging such a beautiful trip for us. Highly recommended!!
