It is also the only Indian state that is home to all four wild cats namely the tiger, leopard, clouded leopard and snow leopard.

Bhalukpong, the entry point of the state, is famous for the archaeological ruins of King Bhaluka. The Kameng River flows through Bhalukpong providing river rafting opportunities.
