Why You Should Visit 7 Emirates of UAE
Quick Jumplinks to Navigate
There are several reasons why you should visit the United Arab Emirates. This tiny nation in the Persian Gulf is home to the world’s tallest building, some of the world’s most luxurious hotels, and a blend of tradition and innovation that is nearly impossible to find elsewhere. The amazing reasons to go to the UAE are found in each emirate, all of which provide their own distinct experiences, and due to air charter availability, there are now more ways than ever to visit.
1. Ajman and Umm Al-Quwain
Although these two emirates are not as showy as Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Ajman and Umm Al-Quwain offer something distinct from their counterparts, making them worthy reasons to visit the UAE. Ajman is full of history and beautiful beaches.
The Ajman Museum provides further insight into the history of the United Arab Emirates as it is housed in the historical Ajman Fort. Families visiting the UAE have the chance to enjoy their day on the beach at Dreamland Aqua Park in Umm Al-Quwain, home to one of the world’s largest water parks.
2. Fujairah
There is only one emirate on the east coast of the UAE: Fujairah. Geographically, Fujairah has one of the most picturesque landscapes in the country. With mountains on either side of the emirate and endless beaches, it offers the perfect contrast. The crystal clear waters are full of sea life, making it an ideal destination for snorkelers and those who love the sea.
A mere hour and a half drive from Dubai, this beachside resort area allows visitors to spend the day here before heading back to their hotels in the evening. Although, you may want to stay at one of the many luxurious resorts that are available here rather than just go to the beach.
3. Dubai
Dubai is one of the most famous cities in the world and is the reason many people visit the UAE. Dubai’s list of landmarks is not limited in the slightest. Its seven tallest buildings, including the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, and spice markets, make this city a must-see.
The striking balance between traditional religious culture and modernity makes this destination a must-see for everyone once in their lifetime. A visit here will allow tourists to visit the world’s largest mall, see the only 7-star hotel on the planet, and still have the opportunity to see mosques and start getting a feel for a city that has grown so fast while never losing its roots.

4. Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is the largest state and capital of the UAE, controlling around 87% of the country’s territory. It is home to one of the world’s most stunning examples of a mosque, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The mosque welcomes everyone but does ask that visitors dress respectfully. Inside, behold vivacious architecture and take the opportunity to learn more about the culture of Islam.
Abu Dhabi is also home to the Yas Viceroy Hotel, which has a Formula 1 racing track and hosts world-famous competitions. Approximately 20 minutes drive away is Ferrari World, an indoor amusement park dedicated to the world-famous automobile brand. The emirate has expanded rapidly and continues to add new activities to its already long list of world records and distinctive attractions.

5. Sharjah
As a northern city of the UAE, Sharjah does not hold the same famous attractions as Dubai or Abu Dhabi but is still worth visiting. The Sharjah Natural History Museum is perhaps its most popular attraction, where visitors can learn about the animals and plants that live in the Arabian Desert.
This is an incredible experience in itself, a reminder that the UAE was once desert, albeit now dotted with skyscrapers. Sharjah’s Blue Souk, a striking building that is a favorite among residents and tourists, is another must-see. Tourists can indulge in traditional shops at the market-like location.

6. Ras Al Khaimah
For an escape from the city, Ras Al Khaimah is an ideal emirate. It is one of the most popular places for UAE residents to spend weekends because of high-end beach resorts, such as Banyan Tree, which offer beachfront rooms and swimming pools.
Dhayah Fort is one of the many well-known historical ruins that can be found across the emirate. Ras Al Khaimah is home to ghost towns, such as Jazirat Al-Hamra, where residents left decades ago due to suspicions that the area was haunted.
