Bala Reef Scuba Diving

Bala Reef Scuba Diving will expose you to the most amazing and unseen sea life. Discover colorful species of fishes, turtles, corals and a lot more in the sea .

It is spread over an area of 5 sq km. It has a good variety of hard and soft corals with vibrant colors. The shallow waters near the island have smaller fish and coral in abundance. Also, this place is ideal for training open water divers.

How to get there

By Air: Chennai/Calcutta to Port Blair by air. Take a local transport or a ferry to Bala Reef.

By Sea: Regular passenger ship services ply between Port Blair and Chennai (1,190 km), Kolkata (1,255 km) and Visakhapatnam

Nearest Town: Port Blair which is 57 km away.

Distance: Chennai - Port Blair - 1190kms, Calcutta - Port Blair - 1255kms
