The Maratha and Peshwa empires played a prominent historical role with its Malva warriors. But its history is not the only reason to visit Lonavala.

Lonavala is 96 km away from the city of Mumbai and only 64 km from the modern city of Pune. It falls in between the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, thus making commute all the easier. And if you can’t find a rental car, then you have buses and trains to rely on.

Alibaug Beach Camping was the best place to hang out with friends and had some quality time with friends. The climate was amazing near the sea and the cool wind makes it a perfect evening. The stories, the laughter shared near the bonfire were amazing memories we had.

My boy gang had such a blast there. We never had so much fun in Mumbai then this. Seating on sand and talking was amazing. Making a barbecue and playing music on guitar all the activities are fun and it’s a worth visiting place with family or friends. The food tasted so delicious and the fun was unlimited. We loved the campsite and had an amazing evening. A great place to build a bond.

We have visited here twice and both Revdanda and Nandgaon campsite are beautiful and very well maintained. The campsite has the best views of the beach and is decorated with fairy lights which look amazing at night with moonlight.

My cousin had visited Mumbai for the first time and I decided to spend the evening at the beach camping. She loved the place and the arrangements were beautiful. We had taken a dip in the sea for an hour and had so much fun in high tides. The night was filled with music and amazing stories. I would love to visit here again with my group.
