Phansad wildlife sanctuary was once a site for hunting for the rulers from Murud. Begin your trip from Pune and enjoy an overnight journey before you indulge in walking through the jungle so early in the morning.

As it is located very close to the sea and the hilly region, the jungle exhibits a special attraction always. A melange of the wide canopy and peaceful serenity makes it an oasis of wildlife. While you stroll along the rugged trails you may find a lot of different species inhabited inside especially birds and insects.   • Day 2 - Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary Nature Trail

    Reach Phansad by 3.30 am, get some sleep in the tents pitched by forest dept.

    Get up at 6.30 am, get fresh up and have breakfast

    Start Jungle Trail by 7.30 am

    End the morning trail at 12.30 pm and then have lunch

    Post lunch jungle trail from 3 to 6 pm

    Start return journey by 6.30 pm

    Dinner en route

    Reach Pune by approx 11 pm.
