Places to Visit in Coorg in One Day

Dubare Elephant Camp, Tadiandamol Peak, Barapole River, Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary, Brahmagiri Hill, Abbey Falls, Iruppu Falls, Nisargadhama, Golden Temple and others.

Coorg, officially known as Kodagu, is a fine amalgamation of misty weather, lush green hillside, meandering streams, and rich culture.  If there is one word to define the beauty of this place, it’s exotic. A
one day trip to Coorg is enough for anyone who is looking to breathe in fresh mountain air to rejuvenate their mind, body, and soul.

When the British visited this mesmerizing land, they were so enthralled with its beauty that they called this quaint town the ‘Scotland of India.’ The surrealism of Western Ghats, the adrenaline rush of recreational activities, the fragrance of numerous coffee plantations, and enriching ancient culture of this place are a few of the many reasons to visit Coorg.

When heading to Coorg, do not forget to check for reservations beforehand. Due to a large number of visitors, you may not get a seat on the toy train ride at Raja’s seat or at white water rafting at Barapole river. And these are experiences not to be missed.

Hi this is keerthi vaasan, We are of 14 members for the trip. We reached at afternoon. The climate was really awesome. We started playing volleyball ball after long time. We played like this while we are in college. After some time we went for a trek on water falls. Really a fantastic ride. We took bath the water is nearly to freezing stage. I first really scared to go on. But after sometime my soul got sticked there. While returning from there only my body returned but my soul sticked out there. Food was really more delicious. They served with good respect. They are maintaining it in good way. The best palce to visit with frnds.

It was an stunning experience for me as solo traveler. Location is in 16 km cut from Madikeri towards Talakaveri and last 3 km pathway is very much into the forest and you will be enjoying that. Location is untapped by many and road in the last stretch is not so comfortable and that is the beauty of the place. The place is very much into the forest and you wont here any sound other than birds, leaves and wind. No Wifi and Network is very weak and that's exactly what we need when we are in holidays. Temperature is damn low at night and camp fire sets the mood for it to enjoy. Tent sleep is a different experience for me and i am sure it would be the same for all. Water stream flows nearby and we can go and pass time there. Morning, we walked around 2 Km into the forest to see a jungle falls which is icing on the cake. Trekking path is also untouched by many i believe. Also you can coffee estate to walk around. No need to mention that food is very delicious and so are services. On a whole, I am sure it would be a complete package for a camp day or two. if it is Coorg, this should be your stay place. I landed at thrillophilia accidentally and it is a needed one. If i want to say in Rajini style, "Magizhchi"

The term 'Gentle Giant' might have been coined especially for elephants! This was a very offbeat and enchanting experience. Totally loved our stay and activities like jeep safari, bird watching, elephant interaction for best part of the whole trip.
It was a very pleasant stay. Rooms and toilets are clean. Food is delicious. We have tried Coorg style chicken curry meals and fish fry in lunch. Evening snacks like chilli chicken, chicken pepper dry, chicken kabab, Fruit salad, gobi manchurian, mushroom chilli. And in dinner roti with egg masala and gulab jamun. The view of the lake from room is very nice. It’s only 5-6 km from Main road. Road is also good.

It was an amazing experience which we lived after choosing this package. Thanks to thrillophilia for such an amazing experience at a pocket-friendly package and discounted rates from various other online websites. The inclusions compared to the cost did justice to it. It was worth the money. The Coorg Cliff Resort is beautiful for couples seeking a hideaway in Coorg as it is surrounded by the mesmerizing beauty of nature, jungle alongside and provided us with a comfortable stay with jacuzzi and romantic dinners arranged on special demands. We have enjoyed nature walks to explore the beautiful views of the location and also loved our last day in their infinity pool which was relaxing.

Porcupine Castle in Coorg has to be one of the most peaceful, picturesque and happy places that I have stayed in. Far from the city this place will actually help you to forget all your stress. The scenic beauty of nature can be relished from the resort itself. If you want you can go trekking to explore the serene environment. But we have decided to spend the holidays being lazy all the time just in spas and pools.
