- Indoor & Rooftop ticket: Mahanakhon SkyWalk & Rooftop (Indoor & Rooftop). Tickets offer access to all three floors (74th, 78thand Rooftop).
How to reach: It is a 10-minute drive to MahaNakhon Observatory from Siam Square, Bangkok. Cabs, buses, motorbikes, tuk-tuks, etc. are the available transport options.
Note: Children aged between 3-12 years will be charged as per child fare.
The senior rate is applicable to adults over 60 years old.
Booking prior is required at less 3 hrs before the traveling date.
No child under the age of 3 years will be admitted to the attraction unless accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above.

Is this place wheelchair-accessible?
Yes. The place is completely wheelchair-accessible. For tourists with a disability or having any problem with their mobility, reaching the sky distance is not a hurdle anymore. The Mahanakhon Skywalk gives them a warm welcome and provides the necessary equipment to go to the sought-after bird’s eye view. In addition, there are special toilets constructed for differently-abled guests. If you ask any staff out there, they will help you to locate the toilet. If you are planning to bring an assistance dog with you, you are required to inform the guest service team in advance to provide the floor guide at your convenience.
Where is Mahanakhon Skywalk Bangkok located?
The Mahanakhon Skywalk is at 114, Narathiwas Road, Silom, Bangrak, Bangkok. Since it is located in the heart of Bangkok, it is pretty much accessible via roadways and BTS Skytrain. For BTR commuters, the nearest BTR station is Sathorn Station. It is just a few minutes walk to reach the place. If you’re coming by BTS Sky Train, the most convenient way is via Chong Non Si Station (Silorn line). For self-drivers, it is a 10-minute journey to Mahakhon Observatory from Siam Square, Bangkok. There are also other modes of transport such as bus, tuk-tuk, motorbikes, and private cars, easily available.
What are the different ticket options?
There are two different ticket options given as follows: Indoor ticket – Mahanakhon SkyWalk (Indoor only). Tickets offer access to the 74th floor. Indoor & Rooftop ticket – Mahanakhon SkyWalk & Rooftop (Indoor & Rooftop). Tickets offer access to all three floors (74th, 78th and Rooftop). As we know, Mahanakhon Skywalk Bangkok is well known for its elevated observatory experience from the 310 meters high outdoor observation. To get a wholesome experience, one should try the Indoor & Rooftop ticket, which guarantees an amazing sky view. This uniquely designed glass floor is mesmerizing one to the core and gives him/her an ever-lasting impression.
Are we allowed to take photographs?
Yes. Photography is allowed to take in one of the world’s largest glass trays. It is an ideal spot for all kinds of photography enthusiasts, especially teens, where they click hundreds of pictures in a few moments. Normally, when we are in a place, surrounded by rare panoramic views, glass ceilings, and like-minded people, we can’t control our craving for photographs. That’s exactly what Mahanakhon Skywalk Bangkok gives you and allows enjoying it. However, all the tourists must note that photography is allowed only in the official photo-taking area. Nobody should carry any heavy luggage, penetrating items, or any other weapons while taking photos.
What are the timings?
The timing in the Mahanakhon place is from 10.00 am to 12.00 am, and it is open on 365 days a year. Here, the last admission for the experience is at 11.00 pm. And no visitor is allowed inside once the last admission time is over for the day. More interestingly, you can get the perfect sunrise view at 6.25 am and the sunset view at 5.49 pm. Considering hundreds and thousands of visitors in a day, tourists are needed to book their tickets a minimum of 3 hours prior to the actual time. It obviously ensures them a secured visit, and they can plan their travel accordingly.
What is the cancellation policy?
Unfortunately, one cannot change or cancel the booked ticket under any circumstances. Likewise, a ticket cannot be transferred, exchanged, or refunded by the management. If you missed the chance on booked date and time, all you can do is buying another ticket at your own cost. Hence, as per the current ticket policy, you neither change the date of visit nor get any refundable amount. After successful booking, you will be receiving confirmation details in the registered mail or phone number. You need to display them at the entrance along with an identity card.
Is it safe?
In Mahanakhon Skywalk, the management and staffs give first priority to the guests’ safety and security. Due to security purposes, all guests are subject to security screening, including X-ray examination and/or inspection of bugs. No large bags, luggage and/or stroller exceeding 9 inches x 14 inches x 22 inches (22 cm x 35 cm x 56 cm) in dimensions are allowed inside. Similarly, no running, horseplay, spitting, jumping, climbing, and throwing any item is permitted. When you talk about children, no child under the age of 3 years will be allowed to the skywalk landscape unless they’re accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above. Without any doubt, the entire place is maintaining world-class safety and security measures, which is constantly updated.
How much time do we need to explore the place fully?
Generally, it takes between 30 minutes and 45 minutes to explore the place for a second-time or third-time visitor. If you’re coming here for the first time, you must stay at least 1 – 2 hours on the 74th floor and 78th floor and get the best rooftop view like never before. Unlike other glass-made walkways, here you can experience an unparallel height, which can hold your breath for a moment. Apart from the major attractions, there are also other alluring spots at customers’ ease. They can stay as long as they can and explore all of them at their own pace.
How high will we go?
After reaching the 75th floor through an escalator, you will be boarding to a hydraulic glass lift with panoramic views to the 78th floor Sky Deck. After you exit from the lift, you will be standing 310 meter-high, 360-degree outdoor view on the very top of the building. From there, you can feel the bustling city of Bangkok and its beautiful people.
What is the ideal time to visit this place?
Anytime in a day is an ideal time to visit this majestic Mahanakhon Skywalk Bangkok, unless you come during the operating hours. If you’re fond of Bangkok’s sunrise and sunset view, you should come at 6.25 am in the morning and 5.49 pm in the evening.
