Overview
Namdapha National Park is set on the bank of Brahmaputra River around 62 km from Margherita. The sanctuary is spread over an area of 180782 hectares. You will be excited about its abundant wildlife. The most exotic spot offers lots of exhilaration. Experience the bio diversity of Namdapha. Besides lofty trees, rich flora and fauna, this spot is also famous for its tigers, leopards, elephants, wild dogs. The main attractions of the park are noa-Dehing, Deban and Namdapha Rivers. Namdapha has 150 tree species and umpteen flowers and orchids. One of the most uncommon includes the Blue Vanda. The valley makes this park a botanical harbour.
Itinerary
Day 01:
Reach Guwahati. Overnight train to Tinsukia.
Day 02:
Reach Tinsukia. Refresh. Proceed to Miao. Drive to Deban. Halt in Rest house.
Day 03:
Trek to Hornbill camp. (Duration 3 hrs) Camp 01
Day 04:
Trek to Firm base enroute visit Bulbulia. (Duration 3- 4 hrs). Camp 02.
Day 05:
Trek to Embeong.Visit Lisu tribe villages. (Duration 4 hrs). Camp 03.
Day 06:
Rest day in intermediate camp.
Day 07:
Reach Deban.Halt.Visit chakma villages. Halt in FRH or Log huts.
Day 08:
Drive to Miao - Tinsukia. Overnight train Guwahati.
Day 09:
Reach Guwahati early morning. End of package.
