    For those of you who are planning to conquer the Himalayan Mountains this time then Kareri lake trek is a great option for you. Perched high between the ranges of Dhauladhar Mountain this glacial Kareri lake trek will take you through a journey of the most scenic views. Trek through the lush green forest filled with chir and chilgoza pines as you continue your trek. 

    The trek starts with your arrival at Dharamkot in Mcleodganj, from where you take a small trek to reach the Kareri Village. After spending a night here, you will then begin the trek to go up to the Kareri Lake, lying at the foot of the Minkiani Pass.     About the Kanamo Peak Trek:

    Make your vacation special as you head out for this one a kind exciting trek to the Himalayas. Known as the white lady peak this trek is considered as a difficult trek by some as you need to get acclimatized to the weather. During your trek, you will come across some steep path as you approach the summit from South East side of the ridge.  You will start this exciting trek from Manali and travel to Batal, as you take the route you will catch the sight of verdant Kullu and Manali valleys along the barren terrain of Lahaul and Spiti valley through Rohtang Pass. 

    On your second day, you will start trekking from Batal to Chandratal. You will be trekking for around 6 hours to the enchanting Chandratal Lake. As you continue you will find many gaddi shepherds around and then enjoy great sights of Bara Shigri Glacier along with lofty Himalayan summits. On your third day, you will start trekking from Chandratal to Kunzum La (4,600m) and then to Kibber (4,250m). Today, your climb will include of a steep as well as a gradual climb. 

    On your fifth day, you will start your trek from Kanamo Base Camp to Kanamo Peak Summit (6,000m) and the back to Kanamo Base Camp. Your trek will be followed by an ascending trek to the ridge that will take you to the top. As you slowly continue you will come across the great sights that include Parang La Pass which leads to Ladakh, Pin Parvati Pass which to Kullu Valley, Kinnaur ranges, Lahaul and Spiti and the stunning valleys. On your sixth day, you will start trekking from Kanamo Base Camp to Kibber which will take around 4 hours and then from Kibber to Kaza. Kareri Lake

Bijli Mahadev Temple

Kullu has a huge history in its sack. It also homes one of the most beautiful temples in India. Bijli Mahadev Temple stands out from all the other temples due to its serenity and scenic beauty.  It is located at a height of 2460 m above sea level. This temple is a “Kash” style temple in which Lord Shiva is in the form of Shiva Lingam.

The temple can be reached easily after crossing the Beas River. It is located 22 km away from Kullu. The higher ground surrounding the temple offers a panoramic view of the Paravati and Kullu valley. The glistening 60 feet staff of Bijli Mahadev is visible from a very long distance. Legend says that this temple gets struck by lightning every year.

This is why the temple is named after lightning.  The lightning distorts the position of the Shiva Linga. The priest of the temple attaches it again using tattoo and butter as an adhesive. To reach this temple, you will have to perform a 3 km moderately difficult trek uphill. It is an easy trek for younger persons.

Kinner Kailash Circuit Trek

Popularly known as “Parbat Of Lord Shiva”, this mountain is perched at an altitude of 6500 meters above the sea level. The alluring landscapes of this place make it the most popular tourist spot in Kalpa. People, in large number, visit this place to take the holy Parikrama, which kickstarts from Morang and continues till Kalpa.

Kinnaur Kailash is situated amid breathtaking valleys, lush green gardens, snow-clad mountains, and gushing rivers. What further adds to the significance of this site is the holy Shivling of Lord Shiva. The Shivling is nestled on the Kailash rage at a height of around 4800m. Kuthar Fort

Kuthar Fort is placed in the undying serenity of the Himalayas. The fort spans over an area of about 52.8 square kilometers and is located in the middle of the exotic background, pools as well as the beautiful gardens.

Location: Kuthar Fort is located at a small distance from both Arki and Subathu that are both an hour away from the Shimla airport, Jubbarhatti. Situated in Solan, the fort is one of the key attractions here.

Stretched in the large area of the region, there are a number of fresh-water springs flowing through here. Bhrigu Lake

A blasting blue Brighu Lake sits cozily between two high-elevation edges towards the east of Rohtang Pass. One of the numerous cold lakes in Kullu Valley, this lake makes for an immaculate weekend trek and is appropriate for families. 

The noteworthy thing about this trek is that one can achieve an amazing elevation of 14,000 feet and experience snow over the second day of trekking! To add to that, the outdoors grounds at Rola Kholi and Pandu Ropa offer dream-like perspectives to wake up to.

A sudden gust of wind dropped all the gods from the basket. Each fell to the ground and became peaks named after them as Indrasan, Pir Panjal, Deo Tibba, and Parbati.

The top of Chanderkhani pass in Himachal Pradesh is a 360-degree meadow from where you will get the panoramic view of these mountain tops.

Chandratal Lake

Chandra Tal is also known as "Moon Lake" is the source of the Chandra River. It is one of the finest treks for trekking in Manali.
