Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Drive from Manali to Solang Nulla. (16km – 1 Hour by Road)

    Scenic Views, Skiing Gears, Leisure Day

    Following your arrival in Manali, take a delightful drive through the scenic trails and reach the Solang Valley. With your arrival in the valley, do not forget to collect your skiing gears. Once done with collecting the required gears, check-in into a hotel and spend the day at leisure; overnight stay will be at the hotel.

  • Day 2 - Theory classes

    Skiing Lessons, Introduction to Various Techniques

     Today, you’ll spend time with the instructors, who will teach you the basics of skiing. Make sure, you do not miss out any of the techniques, as they are utmost important for skiing in Solang Valley. Demo session will be arranged and you can learn how to balance, slide and counter falling on the skis.

  • Day 3 - Practical Sessions

    Recap and Practice of Previous Session, Snow Plough Technique

    Today’s classes will take skiing to a new level! While first half of the day will be vested in practicing, the second half of the day will introduce you to techniques like snow plough. Grab in all the important tips from the instructors and once done with the classes, get back to your hotel room and spend the day at leisure; overnight stay in the hotel. 

  • Day 4 - Skiing on the slopes of Solang Valley

    Practice Snow Plough Technique, Parallel Turning, Carving

    Today, challenge your learning of basics of skiing in Manali on the snow filled slopes of the valley. Try snow plough and other techniques, spend half a day getting confident with the snow and different slopes and learn how to take snow plough turns. Today, you will also be introduced to techniques such as parallel turning and carving. Once done with the classes, return to the hotel and retire for the night.

  • Day 5 - Last day of skiing

    Testing skills of Skiing 101

    On your last day of this skiing adventure, you will spend time on the slopes practicing all the techniques learnt over the past 3 days. Maneuver over the thick sheet of snow and show your skiing skills before the experience comes to an end!

  • Day 6 - Drive from Solang Valley to Manali (via Vashist)

    Hot Springs at Vashist, Skiing in Manali trip ends here

    Bid goodbye to the snow slopes that have given you a life time experience and drive back to Manali. On your return journey, you’ll take a detour to visit Vashist, where you can take a rejuvenating dip in a natural hot spring located well above the Beas River. Post this, start with your drive to Manali and mark the end of this fascinating skiing tour.
