    Sanjay National Park

    Van Vihar National Park

    Renowned for its lush greenery, Van Vihar National Park is one of the most splendid national parks in Madhya Pradesh. It is maintained as a zoological park where you can see a number of wild animals in their natural habitat. One of the popular features of Van Vihar National Park is the road that passes through the park offering easy access to the tourists.

    Most of the animals kept here are those which were either orphaned or exchanged from other zoos in the country without being deliberately captured from the forests. The park is known for housing more than 200 species of birds, 60 species of butterfly and various endangered animals like Albino Sloth bear, White Tiger, Lion, Sambar deer, Cheetal, Nilgai, Blackbuck, etc.

    There is also a lake where one can enjoy watching a number of migratory birds that mark their presence during winters.

    Fossil National Park
