5 Best Waterfalls in Pachmarhi

As Pachmarhi waterfalls tumble and surge down the hills, they make for the best landscape captures for your cameras. Swaddled in the veil of green vegetation all around, there are plenty of serenity-pools at the bottom of most of the falls where you can sit with dangling legs on the rocks or splash the fresh cool water.

Almost all the falls including the most famous ones like Rajat Prapat, Apsara Vihar, Bee Falls demand a bit of an exercise that involves walking uphill and sometimes downhill for several minutes. But the euphoric swishing of the falls can be heard from miles away, and as you arrive at the ecstasy-pools brimming with clear water, you can not help but throw yourself under the fall enjoying the froth bubbles and cold temperature.

Out of the long list of waterfalls in Pachmarhi, we have assembled the best ones here. The waterfalls are majorly deep inside the jungle, so you not only visit the falls but add up a hiking experience as well. Being located at around 1100 meters above sea level, Pachmarhi boasts of some magical forest views, where gasping in astonishment is common among the visitors.

Pachmarhi is a famous hill station in Madhya Pradesh yet is truly underrated, but people sure seem to be happy about it because that is what makes it so offbeat. The earthy smell of the forest around the pools, the bordering flowers and ferns, the tiny stalls serving snacks, soups and tea and the paradise blue sky, the words will fall short in describing the charm of Pachmarhi.
