Asia's one-of-its-kind wildlife park, Langkawi Wildlife Park is the pride of Malaysia. Exhibiting lush vegetation, this wildlife park homes to around 150 different faunal species and accounts for a must to visit place both for animal and nature lovers. While you wander inside, you can simply capture some beautiful moments of the birds roaming here and there. There are stunning macaws, pink flamingos with their distinctive coloration.
The thrill of this Wildlife Park doesn't end here. As you keep walking ahead, you will come across adorable rabbits, smart guinea pigs, cuddly white raccoons, and some scary Bearcats. People visiting here never miss the opportunity to get close to these animals. If you wish to do so, you can buy a pack of animal feed and treat them. Macaws are fond of sunflower seeds and peanuts.
Feeding shows and animal talk shows are the centers of attractions of this park wherein you can learn how to love and feed these animals. Langkawi is a haven for people who are nature lovers and find solace in the wilderness and the wildlife. One of the most popular tourist attractions in Langkawi is the Langkawi Wildlife Park. This is the first fully covered wildlife park in Asia with over 150 species of animals and birds. This park offers amazingly close and fun interactions with the animals. You can take beautiful pictures of the multi-coloured fascinating birds, which include the stark white peacocks, ostriches, Australian White Ibis, Greater Flamingo, and the majestic macaws.
The pink flamingos, with their funny antics, are bound to keep you in splits. To get even closer to the birds, you can feed them with their favourite treats of sunflower seeds and peanuts. The park also houses animals and reptiles like crocodiles, Yellow Burmese Pythons, raccoons, porcupines, etc., which can be seen in their natural habitat.
At the Langkawi Wildlife Park, not only can you see the animals, but also get introduced to them through the daily feeding shows and animated & funny animal talk shows. There is a quaint shopping centre inside the park from where you can pick up souvenirs. There is a café that serves delicious snacks to take care of your hunger pangs during your excursion.
Langkawi has tropical weather almost throughout the year, which gets humid at times. Please wear loose, light coloured, and comfortable cotton clothes to keep off the heat. Wear comfortable sneakers, as there will be a considerable amount of walking involved.
Langkawi enjoys warm tropical weather all through the year and is a year-round destination. However, the months of November to March are the best to visit. The island receives the maximum amount of sunshine during this period and the weather is relatively cool.
From Penang:
- You can opt for a one-way transfer service that will take you from Penang to the Kuala Perlis jetty and then take a ferry to the Kuah jetty.
- The Langkawi Wildlife Park is around 16 minutes from the jetty by wagon.
From Langkawi:
- The Langkawi Wildlife Park is around 15 minutes away from Kuah Town (by taxis)
- The wildlife park is around 35 minutes away from Cenang Beach if you take a wagon.
- A convenient one-way private transfer can be opted for the park in case you are traveling from the Langkawi Airport.
The Langkawi Wildlife Park is located at Lot 1485, Kampung Belanga Pecah, Jalan Ayer Hangat, 07000, Langkawi, Kedah, Malayasia.
This package is inclusive of:

-Access to the interactive shows including animal talk show, feeding sessions, and photo sessions inside the park.
Children in the age group of 0-2 can enter the Langkawi Wildlife Park free of charge. Tickets apply to children in the age group of 3-12 years.
Since the weather is tropical and hot, please carry a water bottle, beach towel, hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses.

Pick-up and drop off facilities are not available in this package. You will be required to arrange for your own travel to the park.
