Located in the Nallamala forest near Allagadda town in Kurnool district, Ahobilam is the only place having 9 temples for lord Narasimha 9 Avatars. And in terms of sculpture and architecture, all these nine temples stand to be an ultimate testament for the ancient sthapathis in planning and sculpting the perfect blend of spirituality with adventure in its natural landscape.
The place is prominent among Hindus as well as travel enthusiasts, which is beautifully divided into two parts. Upper Ahobilam which has 4 temples - Jwala Narasimha, Ahobila Narasimha, Malola Narasimha and Varaha Narasimha. The lower Ahobilam has 3 temples which are easily accessible via the roadway. The other two temples are inside the forest which requires a drive 20 km inside the forest.

You can visit four temples (Jwala Narasimha, Ahobila Narasimha, Malola Narasimha and Varaha Narasimha) in upper Ahobilam and three temples in lower Ahobilam. The remaining two temples are located inside the forest.
