While you trek here, you shall be passing through the Hemis National Park stretching to an area of about 600 sq.m. You have to pay a sum of 39000 INR per head to trek through this region.

Markha Valley Trek
Alternatively known as the Tea-house Trek, Markha Valley trek offers trekkers an exciting opportunity to accommodate themselves in the parachute tents. Accounting for an altitude of about 3700 m, one of the most striking features of this trekking zone is the Kongmaru La Pass (5000 m altitude). Again, the trekking here accounts for a moderate to the mid difficulty level. Markha Valley Trek would cost you around 24000 INR per head.
Best Season: The months from June to September accounts for the best season to trek in this zone.
Lamayuru to Chilling Trek
Starting at 17000 INR per head, Lamayuru to Chilling Trek is one of its kind treks of Ladakh. Best Season: Trek anytime between June to September.
These trekking costs are inclusive of your stays throughout your trekking tour. Also, you shall be receiving meals and breakfasts. Additionally, some of the treks do have a Wild Card Exit facility wherein you can opt out from your trekking activity at any point of time. As the altitudes are high enough, your trekking guide team shall be accompanying an oxygen cylinder to avoid any emergency situations if any. These trekking activities shall be organized in groups wherein you won't be allowed to carry any form of alcoholic beverages.
Also, your trekking manager shall ask you for your medical certification ahead of beginning with the trekking formalities and fees payment. Last moment cancellations shall be entertained at a nominal charge of 25% of the total trekking cost. In this case, you are liable to cancel 30 days before the starting date of your trekking. In lieu of this, the trekking group manager holds a complete responsibility to deduct 100% of the trekking cost if the cancellation is made within 0 to 30 days.
