A visit to Phuket would remain incomplete without watching the Siam Niramit Show. This is a traditional dance performance carried out with flamboyant music, pyrotechnic tricks and elaborate lighting. Make sure you’re camera ready when you arrive, because there’s a lot to capture and save for remembrance. We booked our tickets to the Siam Niramit Show and got great rates from Thrillophilia. Apart from passes to the dance show, our ticket also included a Thai dinner.

There are three different shows conducted daily. Act 1 is about Journey Back to History. In this show, you can see how various cultures met in one place for over seven centuries and evolved into a great civilization. Act 2 consists of Journey Beyond Imagination: The Three Worlds. In this play, one can see, despite having different cultures and livelihoods, the people are tied up with a common belief in the religious principle of the Law of Karma.

Finally, Act 3 is about Journey through Joyous Festivals. Thai Buddhists believe that one must have good merits to go to heaven. So, this show introduces you to a wide variety of merit-seeking festivals which include a religious ceremony with a colourful and joyful celebration.
